1. It is based on webtoon, titled D.P Dog's Day by Kim bo-tong.
2. Because of the public's reponse, it looks like social chastisement drama about military absurdity, but its genre is closer to detective one. Especially, considering that two leading and supporting actors break cases together, it is similar to Sherlock Holmes.
3. Han Ho-yul calls Ahn Joon-ho 'my son' because Han Ho-yul joined the army a year earlier than Ahn Joon-ho. It is called 'father-son' military seriel number in the Korean army.

According to Kim bo-tong's interview, an original author of this series, the reason is that wrongdoers in the Korean army don't tend to get punished because some officers don't want to make a big things out of those cases for promotion of their own.
6. According to Jung Hae-in, an actor who played Ahn Joon-ho, a director and writer are writing a script for the season 2 and looking forward to it, but Kim bo-tong posted on Instagram that he is not working.
